Our Process.
At Liberty Revival we strive to make the experience of construction not only convenient, but extraordinary. From the initial consultation to installation our team is working behind the scenes to guarantee happiness and satisfaction with all aspects of our project.
Introduction
During the interview we discuss the process & options to ensure you are satisfied with the product we design for you. In cases where the need for approvals by various town and city government agencies may be required, we are more than willing to assist in the approval process.
Note: Our door and windows are already approved and installed and some of the most prestigious addresses in the city of Boston so we are already known by most agencies.
Job Quote
Once we agree on general terms & you would like us to give you a non-obligation quote, we will do a quick non-invasive measuring the windows & doors needing replaced. Within a few days we will return with in all inclusive quote that covers everything from precise measurements, fabrication, installation, final clean, and demonstration of operation/ maintenance.
Purchase Agreement & Contract.
After your acceptance of our pricing we will present you with a purchase agreement and contract and we will both sign said contract. We require a small deposit and once received the clock starts ticking for our projected delivery date. You will then be assigned a trained technician/cross craftsman who will come to your home to do an in-depth inspection/ measurement of all the units we will be replacing and later completing the installation. This allows your assigned member to prepare for what challenges there may be/ special needs that must be met.
Create shop drawings based on precise measurements.
After all the measurements are entered into our fabrication formula we will generate a shop drawing that will be used for approvals including any need from historical groups. Once approvals are done our craftsman take over.
Material Selection
We start by selecting the best materials for the build typically this is Sapele, Mahogany or Quarter Sod White Oak. Which ever species is chosen we will handpick each piece and prepare it for the milling process. Each piece is hand mailed in assembled by hand in our workshop by our craftsman. Each piece is sanded by hand to a fine finish and remove any imperfections that may have a peer during the milling and assembly and as for assembling each unit is again inspected and moved into our professionally operated spray booth to receive an initial coat of primer or sealer depending on the final finish required. Our glass is installed and ready to move to their new home.
Delivery
After each unit is completed and receives the final two coats of the exterior finish and or interior if chosen they are positioned for a delivery and installation. We will coordinate with you to set up a delivery time that fits your schedule. We deliver our own units with all the necessary parts direct from our shop. Our crews are sensitive to your concerns, understand we are guests, and treat your home with the utmost respect.
Installation
We first set up protections to ensure the areas we are working and will remain clean and have minimal disruption. Our technicians remove existing doors or windows and prepare the opening to receive the new custom unit. We will install insulation and waterproofing we are applicable and then secure the new unit in place. Once we are satisfied the unit is operating perfectly we will install the hardware chosen for the finishing touch. After the installation team cleans & removes all related debris to your satisfaction including cleaning the interior new window.
Exit Interview
On our exit interview we will discuss any maintenance questions you may have and leave you with our recommended care and protection pamphlet for you to refer to and our warranty information.
